Samsung always actively works to upgrade its smartphones to deliver an up-to-date experience to its users. Recently, it launched the Galaxy S24 series, and within a few days, the brand started gearing up to deliver a significant update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
If the recent reports are to be believed, Samsung is actively working on a new convenient update for the latest Galaxy S24 Ultra, which will include multiple improvements and fixes for the camera, so users will get an enhanced experience. This is being speculated by the post on X, formerly Twitter, shared by @UniverseIce, which states that “the next update of the Galaxy S24 Ultra will optimize the telephoto quality.”
By this statement, it is pretty clear that Samsung is on the way to deliver the next update to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, through which it will improve the telephoto quality. Apart from this statement, the tipster also posted three images side by side for comparison. The sample images taken after the update appear radically improved—sharper and clearer as compared to before, along with more legible text.
Also, it appears that these improvements will arrive without even any of the disagreeable side effects that can often occur while using sharpening filters. From the images, it appears that Samsung is doing more than just tweaking its image-sharpening algorithms, and the recent reports also give a strong clue that the brand is ready to roll out the update.
As per this report, the images taken at 9.9x magnification in some particular scenarios look sharper than those shot at 10x, for no apparent reason. Apart from all this, one thing is that turning off the “auto lens switching” option in the Camera Assistant application of Samsung somewhat improves the situation. One more thing to notice is that the same tipster also reveals that the upcoming update will also fix one more issue regarding the “shadow” effect, visible around the sun in scenarios when the users are shooting directly at it.
