The Samsung Galaxy S24 family has taken the flight and will take the floor within one month. The family has three members: the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Here’s the question: the parent company of the forthcoming flagship Galaxy S24 series, ‘Samsung’, has packed what specifications for the display. A couple of days ago, it was rumored that the brand was offering excellent generative AI features to the series.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra Screen Will Be Brighter As The Sun
If the recent reports are to be believed, the forthcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a dynamic AMOLED 2x display along with a peak screen brightness of up to 2,600 nits. And it is appearing 100 nits higher as compared to previous rumors. Previously, it was revealed that the flagship S24 series would feature 2,500 nits of peak screen brightness.
The Galaxy S23 lineup smartphones feature a peak brightness of 1,750 nits in HDR scenes.
By the brand’s grace, if this revelation comes true, then the forthcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra will have the brightest screen Samsung has ever had. And it’s only about Samsung, but if compared to the Google Pixel 8 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will win the race for the brightest screen. Check below the peak brightness of all three devices:
- Galaxy S24 Ultra: 2,600 nits
- Pixel 8 Pro: 2,400 nits
- iPhone 15 Pro: 2,000 nits
Display brightness is not measured on a linear scale. It follows a logarithmic scale, as per which 100 nits is not twice the perceived brightness of 200 nits. In like manner, 2,000 units of screen brightness is not twice as visibly bright as 1,000 nits.
