Samsung has unveiled a plethora of new features with One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S24 series devices. Aside from the highlighted AI features, the devices also offer numerous new features that bring innovative functionality, such as AOD wallpaper, widgets, and a recent change in the clock app.
You can set the alarm background on the clock accordingly
Earlier, when you set up any alarm, you will get a set of basic features that will help you set the alarm, but now, for a more enjoyable experience, the company has introduced a new option that allows you to add a different background that will be shown when the phone’s alarm goes off.
Now, with One UI 6.1, there are several backgrounds added. You can also set the custom background. To do that, you have to just follow some simple steps: Open the clock app, then click the three-button icon on the top right corner of the screen, tap on settings, and then click on the alarm background.
Here you will see all the images you have saved on your phone. Now you have to just choose one of the images by clicking on it. After you have made your selection, the selected background will be displayed every time the alarm goes off.
As far as availability is concerned, the feature may be packed with One UI 6.1 and will be available for all eligible devices. For your information, Samsung has confirmed that it will initially roll out the February 2024 security patch, then start distributing the One UI 6.1 update to the devices.
According to the latest confirmation, the company will initiate the update with these Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5, and then expand it to the other remaining devices.
