The wait is over here! Samsung has officially confirmed the One UI 6.1, along with the Galaxy AI features update, is arriving for the 2022 Galaxy flagship devices, including the Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 4 series, and the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup.
Initially, the brand introduced the Galaxy AI features only for the Galaxy S24 series, later expanded to more 2023 flagship devices, and now confirmed that it will soon release the Galaxy AI along with the One UI 6.1 update to the older devices that are mentioned above.
In early May 2024, the brand will start rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for more devices. Check out the list:
- Galaxy S22 Ultra
- Galaxy S22+
- Galaxy S22
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
- Galaxy Tab S8+
- Galaxy Tab S8
All of these Galaxy devices are eligible to get the One UI 6.1 update with the awaiting Galaxy AI features, which include AI-generated wallpaper, which generates wallpaper through text prompts, Chat Assist helps to translate messages in real-time into your preferred language; Circle to Search lets you search anything from the display by just circling the image or text that you want to search; Edit Suggestion offers grammar and spelling corrections as well as various writing tone styles and suggestions; Generative Edit offers advanced editing features; Interpreter helps with real-time language translation while talking to someone face-to-face; Live Translate, which translates language in real-time while making voice calls; and many more.
Noticeably, the brand decided not to offer particular features to these devices, which are as follows:
- Instant Slo-Mo
- Lockscreen wallpaper weather effects
- Super HDR
Apart from these three AI features, the list of Galaxy devices mentioned here is eligible for almost all Galaxy AI features.
