As the official Unpacked event draws near, new insights into the forthcoming Galaxy S24 series are emerging. A recent rumour suggests that the Galaxy S24 introduces a high quality touchscreen. The news is that the upcoming galaxy series Galaxy S24 lineup could be improved with touchscreen responsiveness. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra all have 10% increased touchscreen speed compared to previous models.
In this theory, the anticipated improvement of 120 Hz response time aims to elevate the speed and seamless connection between One UI and user input, creating a more fluid interaction, especially rate. This enhancement may also play a role in refining the S Pen experience, particularly for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the exclusive model supporting this input device.
Samsung has significantly advanced its display technology for the upcoming Galaxy S24 series with LTPO backplans crafted using M13 materials. If past leaks hold true, the Galaxy S24 series is expected to introduce the brightest Super AMOLED 2X displays to date, potentially reaching 2,600 nits of brightness across all models, including the base, Plus, and Ultra variants.
This marks a substantial increase from the Galaxy S23 series, whose displays peaked at 1,750 nits. The Galaxy S24 series is set to be officially unveiled on January 17 at Unpacked in San Jose, California, with reservations currently open for prospective buyers to enjoy discounts and other incentives later this month.
