Last year, Samsung launched the One UI 6.0 update for Galaxy devices. With the One UI 6.0 update, several innovations arrived that tweaked some functions, including the Quick Panel, home screen lock screen, and several UI elements. Now it’s time to get ready for the next UI update, which will be available in the form of One UI 6.1.
Samsung One UI 6.1 Update
With the One UI 6.1 update this time, users will get some major innovations in the form of AI-powered features, including live call translation, circle to search, and summarization of voice recordings and texts. If you want to take advantage of all these new innovations, then you should wait for the update to be available for your device.
As far as availability is concerned, the Korean giant has already confirmed that it will introduce the One UI 6.1 to older Galaxy devices, in the first phase at least to the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 devices. Then it will gradually expand to other Galaxy devices. Recently, Samsung has confirmed that it will provide the One UI 6.1 update.
Before the official rollout, Sammobile has brought all the information about the One UI 6.1 features. It has unveiled the different AI features, such as the summarization of long text and web pages, automatic formatting of text in notes, transcribing voice recordings, correcting grammar and spelling errors, and changing the tone of messages during the chat.
Apart from AI features, One UI 6.1 also brings smoother animation to the user interface, but as expected, full-screen Always On Display support for the Galaxy S24 does not arrive. As per the information, the One UI 6.1 update may be available for all the above-mentioned devices from today.
