Moving forward, the company has brought four new formatting tools that will make it convenient to highlight the text according to its context.
The first one is a bulleted list; it provides a format for creating lists with bullets. To create a bulleted list, you just need to use ‘-‘, then give space and type the word, and when you tap the’return’ key, the list will continue.
A numbered list is also a type of list format, but the main difference is that it will provide you with a serial number instead of the same bullets. To create the numbered list, you just need to type any number, then press the space button two times. Now type your matter, and when you want to increase the list, just hit the return button every time.
The third one is Block Quote, which is one of the useful formatting tools as it will highlight our text in a block form. To use this, you just need to type greater than symbol, then tap space and type the message, which will be typed in a separate block in a different color.
Finally, Incline Code is one of the functions that is often used by those who are involved in IT and programming, but it can also be used to highlight our text in the WhatsApp conversation. To use this function, you just need to place a backtick on both sides of the message.
Apart from the new formatting tools, there are four older formatting tools that are already available in WhatsApp, including italic, bold, strikethrough, and monospace.
