WhatsApp is all set to introduce a new useful feature for its users that will add more utility to the application. Here we are talking about the view-once voice message, which makes you feel comfortable sharing any type of information that you don’t want to stay there for a long time.
This feature is the same as the view-once photo or video that you share with each other for one-time viewing only. The voice message view once again just brings an extra layer of safety and also follows the same end-to-end encryption by default.
As far as working is concerned, it will be the same as the view once video and photo functionality, so to use it, you just follow the same process, like first choosing any voice recording from internal storage or recording it instantly with the WhatsApp voice recorder, then sliding up to lock the voice recorder, and then you will get the view once icon above the message send arrow icon.
The latest feature has already started rolling out globally, so if you want to take advantage of this feature, then you should keep an eye on the new update and install it on your device when it’s available. It is worth noticing that the feature is already available for beta updates. While we have noticed the feature is coming on version number 2.23.24.82, However, it may differ from device to device. Most likely, it may be coming from the server side, so it is possible that you don’t need to install any specific version number to get it.
