Samsung has recently introduced the One UI 6.1 update for eligible devices. For instance, it has already distributed the update to several Galaxy S series devices, including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy S23 FE. While older devices are no longer eligible to get any major updates, the Galaxy S21 FE is also one of those devices.
What is Lineage OS?
The Lineage OS is a free open-source operating system for Android devices, including smartphones and tablets. It is developed by independent developers, aiming to provide new features to older devices that are officially out of the updated policy.
What’s new with Lineage OS 21?
Now with LineageOS 21, Galaxy S20 FE users will be eligible to get Android 14 improvements on their devices. For instance, after installing the software, there will be several changes in the device related to different applications, including the default camera, calculator app, and Gallery app, as well as lots of UI tuning. Along with this, it will get more performance upgrades and improvements.
The Lineage OS 21 is now available to download. As it is an external file, you need to be careful when installing the software on your device, as the file may corrupt the data if you don’t handle it carefully, so read all the instructions before installing the software.
