Google’s Gemini is a chat boot that can provide you with precise answers and also do some tasks just like Google Assistant; however, it currently lacks the ability to offer some basic services that were available in the Assiatang from the initial stages. One of those services is music streaming.
In Google Assistant, when the user commands to play any music from any application that was preset or directly asked, it easily processes it and plays the desired music from any particular music service application. This same thing is not available in Gemini yet, but fortunately, there is good news that it will soon start to support it.
According to the information, it seems like Google is working to introduce support for music streaming services into the chatbot, which will allow users to choose their favorite multimedia service provider.
According to the information shared by PiunikaWeb, a new option has been identified in the Gemini settings: the Music item allows you to ‘Select the favorite services used to play music. However, when the option is selected, it doesn’t show anything, which indicates that the feature may be under development. It is also not clear if Google will limit itself to music streaming services or if Geminsin will also be able to take advantage of the integration with other streaming services like audiobooks, podcasts, and similar services.
