Samsung recently got official approval to run some Samsung Health features like ECG and blood pressure measurement. These features have already been available in the application for a long time, but after approval, the company has unlocked them in some countries, like India. For better functioning, the company frequently brings new updates to the application.
Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Samsung Health Monitor; it carries the version number 1.2.5.003. The update is coming with the software package of 17.10MB; however, the company doesn’t attach any new changelog with the update, which indicates that no significant changes will be available for the application, but it is expected that the update could bring some internal improvements for the internal functions.
If you are having some other issues while using any function of the application, then this update may address those issues, so you should update your device to the latest update. To do that, you just need to go to the Galaxy store and then search for the Samsung Health Monitor. If it shows a new update available, tap on the update button.
For your information, the Samsung Health Monitor enables users to record an ECG, similar to a standard lead ECG, and check the ECG record for potential atrial fibrillation, which is one of the most common forms of cardiac arrhythmia. It also provides regular monitoring of blood pressure.
