Google is constantly developing its Material You design language; it is gradually expanding it to more of its applications. Earlier, it made changes to the icons of the applications to optimize them with new styles, but now it is taking further steps and has also started applying it to widgets. Like now, it has provided a new design for the Google Clock applications.
Right now the weather information after dismissing Alam is coming in a very basic format, which pretty much looks like Google Assistant’s conversation format, where first it greets, then in the second line it shows current weather conditions, then it displays more information in paragraphs. In the first program, it shows today’s weather and temperature conditions, and in the next paragraph, it shows next-day forecast information.
Now with the new change, according to information shared screenshots, it has redesigned the whole thing, which is quite attractive. The current temperature information and visibility information are displayed on the top left of the screen, while other information like high and low temptation for the day is displayed at the bottom right of the screen. However, there is no separate tile available for the next-day forecast, which is not an issue; it is a welcome change for pixel users.
It is worth noticing that the change is currently limited to Pixel devices only, and as it is currently part of testing, it is only reached by a small number of users through the server directly. However, Google plans to expand the change to more devices once it completes testing.
As most of these features are pixel-exclusive, there is less possibility that they could come to other Android devices for now.
