WhatsApp is continuously rolling out several new features and improvements for its users, and the company’s development team is working hard to bring innovativeness to the application’s full potential. Going toward development, it is now decided to bring some new features for customizing events.
Earlier last month, WhatsApp introduced a new feature for event creation for communities, where admins can create any event and pin it in the announcement so every member can be informed about any particular event at the same time. Now, with the upcoming update, users can also be able to set cover photos of events.
With the ability to set cover photos, which provide a lot of advantages to enhance the community experience, admins can make the events more engaging and capture the attention of the members immediately. When the admin adds different photos for each event, it will be easy to distinguish the events and reduce the chances of confusion.
The latest feature is spotted in the WhatsApp beta testing, coming with the version number 2.24.12.26. If you have already enrolled in the WhatsApp beta program, then you should receive the new feature with the latest update. But if you don’t receive the updated eyes, then you should enroll in the WhatsApp beta program via the Google Play Store.
