WhatsApp is working hard to compete with other social media giants, and to do that, the developer team is continually bringing new updates to the users. With the recent testing version, there are two new additions spotted in the application that allow the WhatsApp user to use the application with more useful features.
In the recent testing version, two new features were spotted, including the new chat filter “Favorites” and the new editor tool “Color Picker.”.
With the new “Favorite” chat filter, users will be able to quickly locate favorite chats with both individual contacts and groups. When it arrives on your smartphones, you will be able to add the contacts to the favorites by simply tapping on the head “favorite,” and here you will get the option to add to favorites.
Meanwhile, a new color picker is added under the editor, which allows the user to pick the exact color from the photos. This will improve the ability to select the exact color quickly.
It is worth noticing that currently, these features are in the testing phase, so they are currently available for those users who have enrolled in the WhatsApp beta program. If you haven’t enrolled in the beta program yet, you can still do so by going to the WhatsApp download page in the Play Store and tapping on the join button. Meanwhile, for other users, these features may be available in the next few weeks through a new update.
